Nikki Capra: My new best friend
OK. I've never met Nikka Capra, but I asked her if I could use one of her songs on an upcoming podcast (which you can subscribe to through iTunes - HINT HINT).Anyway, she got back to me right away and said cool and then, get this, she put links to Mad Mad Media on her MySpace site and her Web site.

Wow, no one has really asked me about that. I sang and played guitar, kind of a grungy folk singer. I wasn't very good and my heart really wasn't in it.
That and I was scared to be in front of people. I usually sang with my eyes closed.
Actually, there were a couple of other things too. I was in an alternative group called, ugg, I Am Skoobi Doo Tripping (we played a handful of shows, one of which was with Beck) and in a late 80s early 90s electronic duo, ugg, Dude You're Green (two years, one show, one CD, done). We picked that name over Holiday Twin...which sounds better with every passing year.
It's the names that did those groups in I swear!
But for the most part, I was a solo musician. Thanks for asking anonymous!
