New Regina Spektor song
After amazing critics with her debut CD, Regina Spekor has returned with "Begin to Hope."I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but I am digging her first single, "Samson."

She has a very solid sound, but not quite as good as some of my faves like Lucy Kaplansky and Patty Griffin. If all the songs are that good on the Spektor CD, I would buy it. Is she any relation to Phil Spektor?

I don't think she's any relation. I have Soviet Kitsch, and it's really good. I've only heard samples of her new CD, but from what I've heard I'd feel safe recommending it.
