The Sanjaya chronicles

Wow. I mean wow! I thought Sanjaya was a joke last week, but yesterday was the punch line. First, I have to talk about the hair. Sanjaya comes out in this ... faux hawk, ponytail Mohawk, that made me miss the first 30 seconds of his performance. Funny. Then he forgets the words. Then, during the interview he whines and goes “I just wanted to have a Mohawk.”
Of course, he’s going to sail right through. It doesn’t matter that he can’t sing. It doesn’t matter that his 15 minutes passed the overtime mark two weeks ago. It just doesn’t matter.
It doesn’t matter how much I want him to go home, because who controls the world? 13-year-old girls. That’s who controls the world.
Sure, it turns out they were right about Leonardo DiCarpio when they were going to Titanic over, and over, and over again, but I am telling you they are not right about Sanjaya.
HE SUCKS. Not bad, not stinks, not terrible, he sucks. Actually, to steal a line from The Simpsons, I didn’t think it was physically possible but Sanjaya both sucks and blows.So who’s going home? Probably Chris (either one). But it doesn’t matter. Sanjaya should be the one going home, and eventually America will realize it. And when they do, the cheer from my house will be heard in space!
