“Cars” was a big hit at the box office pulling in $60 million in its opening weekend, but it still didn’t best “Shrek 2,” which earned $108 million its opening weekend. “The Prairie Home Companion” earned $4.5 million in its opening weekend. Find out what other movies made the charts HERE.
Sony is reporting that “The Da Vinci Code” starring Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon has earned $642 million worldwide since it was released four weeks ago. AFP is reporting Sony has also purchased the rights to another Dan Brown novel, “Angels and Demons,” the first novel to feature Langdon. Read more HERE.

"The Princess Bride" is timeless. Made in 1987 (I think), it is still as relevant today as it was then. Of course all fairy tales are, but still. I loved it as an elementary kid, and I still love it as a mother of 2. You can't go wrong with The Princess Bride.

I have to agree with you. "The Princess Bride" is a favorite at my house too. Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya is awesome. "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." That's a great line!
