Well, it had to happen sometime

I wasn't shocked to see Elliott leave last night, but I wasn't happy about it. Elliott was a solid performer and he would have given Taylor a run for his money.
But I think he'll have a great career, despite leaving in the Number 3 spot.
Now it's down to Katharine Vs. Taylor. This scenario reminds me a lot of last year. Bo Bice was the clear favorite going into the final performance. Carrie Underwood didn't do anything spectacular, but she managed to win.
Why?
Because Bo Bice was quirky. Quirky gets you noticed, but being a normal, run-of-the-mill performer gets you votes from the normal, run-of-the-mill watcher.
I'm worried about Taylor winning this thing. Taylor is quirky, while Katharine and Elliott are pretty run-of-the-mill.
I guess what I'm saying it, don't forget to vote next week.
Otherwise Taylor could be taking the Bo Bice route.
