OH Yeah! SOUL PATROL!!!!!!! That was the best finale of American Idol I have ever seen. What an ending. WOOOOOHOOOOO!
Can you believe all of the guest stars? Prince, Dion Warwick, Meatloaf, Live, Clay Aiken, and Wolfgang Puck.
Every performance was great, but the most amazing moment was when Taylor won! Congrats Taylor. You are the American Idol. Now what am I going to write about?

You can write about non-American Idol stuff now. :)
Or how about Summerfest? That's coming up real soon. I have no idea who's going to be there this year. Do you? Look it up and let me know! (I can do it myself but I'd rather you do it so you can write about stuff that actually matters!)

Stuff that actually matters? American Idol matters. There were more that 60 million votes cast in four hours Tuesday night for Taylor and Katharine. That's more votes cast than during any election for US president.
Don't be a hater just cause you don't get it!
But I will mention Summerfest so you don't have to. But you have to remember, this isn't all about you!

Taylor reminds me of retired tennis player Todd Martin. Granted, the picture you posted is the only picture I've seen of this "winner," but he reminds me of Martin -- old and graying yet still trying to be hip and hang with the young'uns, looking totally out of place. The only difference: Taylor actually won.

I bet his first CD will have some gems for his fans who like the soul. That was his thing, and American Idol will hopefully recognize that. If not, they will be sorry.
But I think the Soul Patrol will do his fans proud!
