Barry Manilow bowed out of an appearance on The View because he dislikes one of the hosts. According to a report on IMDb, Manilow – who just released a new album of cover songs from the 1970s — was scheduled to make an appearance on the show today (Tuesday) but cancelled because he thinks co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s right-wing views are “dangerous and offensive” and he strongly disagrees with her “conservative views,” the site reported
