Antonella is going home

I know, I know, I know. I said this last week. But this week, Antonella Barba has to be going home. I mean, what was she thinking? A Celine Dion song? Why not just try and sing an opera? Now, I’m not a Celine fan, but I know she can sing. And I know her voice is one of those that can’t be duplicated. So, Antonella, I ask you this. In a week where nude pictures of (allegedly) you showed up on the Internet, something that had past contestants booted off in the past, would you set yourself up for failure by singing a Celine Dion song?
Now, some of you might argue that she didn’t sound that bad. Sure, she wasn’t awful, but her arrangement was so easy, a caveman could sing it (I’m sorry, I didn’t know you guys still existed).
Gina Glocksen, LaKisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle brought down the house (Melinda especially), so they’re safe. Haley, Jordan, Sabrina and Leslie were all right.
So my predictions on the girls going home tonight are: Antonella Barba (for a second week in a row) and and Alaina Alexander (she just didn’t do anything for me, with Haley Scarnato. For the guys, I think Phil Stacey and Jarod Cotter will be departing (and I’m picking Chris Richardson as an alternate).
Tune in tonight at 7 p.m. to see who is going home. And Antonella, if you happen to defy my predictions and make it another week, here's a suggestion: Sing something in your range. Anything by Ashlee or Jessica Simpson, or Britney Spears (pre-baldhead) should work just fine.
