It's about damn time!
Depeche Mode, the once decent group whose long descent into dreadful mediocrity depressed its dejected audience even further, has finally release a good new song (It only took you three cds guys. Good going.)
Martyr is off of the group’s greatest hits CD, which will be released in November, according to OhNoTheyDidn’t. Interestingly enough, it’s a brilliant mixture of the band’s very early Erasure-ish music and its later more aggressive/masochistic sound.Of course, the last halfway descent Depeche Mode CD, Songs About Faith and Devotion, was released in 1993, 13 years ago, so it’s good to see they’re keeping it fresh.
